Valley Bakers Cooperative Association is a bakery and foodservice wholesale distribution company headquartered in Greenville, Wisconsin. We serve approximately 1200 locations throughout Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We serve a varied customer base of retail, wholesale and supermarket bakeries, donut shops, pizza restaurants, pizza manufacturers, candy stores and institutional foodservice companies.

Valley Bakers employs approximately 95 people. We operate dry, refrigerated, and frozen warehouses for product that we sell and ship to our bakery and foodservice customers. VBCA also operates a public/contract cold storage company called Progressive Warehousing, and a trucking company called Bakers Supply Company, offering storage and transportation solutions, in addition to our ingredients and supplies business. Bakers Supply Logistics brokers transportation needs when our own trucks cannot handle your needs.

Valley Bakers was founded in 1949 by five independent bakers. The idea was to combine member purchasing power and to warehouse and distribute products in the most economical way possible. As a result, each customer would reduce the time spent with salesmen and decrease the time spent keeping track of multiple supplier accounts. Most important, the expense of delivery was substantially reduced by combining all products onto one truck.


Members of Valley Bakers Cooperative Association have developed a powerful company designed to serve the purchasing and distribution needs of the baking industry. The cooperative's single purpose is to reduce your ingredient costs through volume purchasing and efficient distribution services.

Most of our customers are also members of the cooperative, sharing in the benefits of ownership of the company, its assets, and its profits.

We serve customers in approximately 1200 locations throughout Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We utilize sophisticated software to manage our fleet of delivery trucks. Our goal is to provide efficient service. Efficiencies are returned to our members as dividends.
