"Due to substantial hazards resulting from exposure to tobacco, it shall be the policy of Valley Bakers Cooperative Association to provide a tobacco-free enviroment for all employees and visitors effective January 27, 2007. There will be no smoking or chewing of tobacco products on VBCA property including company vehicles and at company sponsored meetings or events. Healthy and productive people are the heart of our company. In an effort to control our health care costs
and enhance our well being, we have formed an employee committee to plan and implement a new company wide
wellness program. The smoking cessation plan is just one part of this effort.
